Thread: Looking for an Audi A3/A4 Tdi 1996 - 2000 plate

Not sure wether to go A3 or A4 tdi 1.9....whats your opinions? Never had an Audi but in this day and age I want a cheap runabout and does good miles to the tank and looks good slammed on clean-cut 19's. I feel Audi is the anwser.

Am I right in saying stay clear of Audi's with the 90bhp 1.9 tdi and stick with the 110bhp tdi? Im sure I read it sumwhere.

Anyways I don't want to spend more than 1500 quid tbh as it's a runabout as said for mon-fri work lark. Other car can sleep til weekends.

If I was to go for the A4..I'd want it looking like the Audi S4 turbo so keeping it up to a 2000 plate?

The A4 is the better looking machine when modded up in my opinion, but the A3 is a better drive and slightly better fuel economy, as it's lighter! I'd go for 110bhp model personally, or try and find a 115PD in A4 shape(V, W, X reg models.)
