I'm sure that some of you will already know this, but for others like me, I thought I should share

MOT changes from 2012 | AA

In Brief:

If you have after-market HID's, you'll need to retro fit headlight washers too!! or swap the lights for the MOT?
If your dash warning light is on for any of the following it's a fail:

  • Headlight main beam warning light
  • Electronic power steering warning light
  • Brake fluid level warning light
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system warning light
  • Air bag warning light
  • Seat belt pre-tensioner warning light
Plus a few other bits and pieces they can fail you on.

Basically our MOT test is just about to get a lot tougher!!
