Thread: can I run my A6 avant 2.7tdi on a form of biodiesel safely?

Hi, as diesel gets my expensive, I wondered if anyone had some info and advice on if its possible to run my 2006/56 A6 avant 2.7tdi safely on biodiesel?

Im not sure on this one as in Germany its promoted rather well, but VAG over here don't,

I'v seen folk mix bio with regular diesel on a 50/50 basis without any running issues,

iv tried this stuff in my 2.5 and it runs rather well, Quickslick: Alternative Diesel Fuel but my advise is to only use purchased re-cleaned oils with this stuff, there are places that clean used oils and sell it to the public, Quick Slick is an additive that simply thins it out and stops it from going hard in the cold,
