    MOTIng a new car early

Asking for a friend, we know that you can test a car a month early and end up with a 13 month ticket but what he's asked me is whether this counts towards his first (3yr old car) MOT, if it's a month early will he get a year ticket or 13 months?

    Cheers Kai

No. On the first test it will be just 12 months mate. Next year if you do it a month early you'll get the 13 months and every subsequent year.

12 months for sure, best to do it a month early, I'd be tempted to go back to the stealers and do the first one! The car would still be under it's 3 year warranty, so if it fails, tell them to fix it!!
You've got to have a laugh!
