Thread: What gauge wire is wiring looms made from?

Anybody know what gauge wire wiring loom is made from?

Need to make a few circuits to modify a mates track car - and want to order sufficient/correct wire and heat shrink before hand.

No major currents or anything, sub 1Amps - mainly on sensor data buses, but one less than 1a live feed.

Have a look at that, has a calculator showing voltage drop over different lengths and cable sizes. There is no "correct" answer 'cos if you were running it over 300ft you'd need a much thicker cable!
