Thread: How many miles do you get from a tank of fuel?

Ive got a A3 8P 2.0 Tdi and from brim to light on - I just got 500 miles. I know i could get more if i was driving more carefully.
What do you get on average?

600-700 a tank.

1.9 TDI B5

Not as many as I used to now the fuels gone up again il get me coat....

420-450 on an 8L S3 running on V Power

480 all around town - with alot of gear changes & not really able to get it in to 4th gear!

Some good miles there - perhaps I should be aimimg for a bit more?

720 miles combined driving.

used to get 330 now getting 370ish ? (a4 2.0 tfsi quattro)

I too have the 8P 2.0TDi, I get a little more than 500 on a full tank driving on A & B roads and town driving (not city).

Though when I only fill to a half tank - I don't know if it's psychological or weightsaving - but I get about 300miles from the half tank to the 50mi warning/first red line = 600+miles to a full tank.

now over 400 the week before I change it,typical eh.

A4 1.9 tdi b6 - 600 miles reasonably careful driving

A3 8P 2.0TDi sportback - 550 miles ish

A3 1.6 FSI - 420 miles

1.9 tdi B5 (remap) hybred
best 800ish combined
worst 370 motorway

B6 2.0 mway 450

b7 stage 3 400ish careful 200 heavy foot

450 miles out of a 100litre tank in Touareg...
450-500 miles in B7 2.0TDI 170 Quattro
Both 95% motorway mileage

8p S3 - 1300 miles on the clock - Approx 300 miles til the light comes on.
