Thread: Octane boost_ any good?

none of the petrol stations around me sell 98ron petrol, would octanbe boost and regular petrol work? Are they weorth it? Iuf so which ones?

There a bit gimmicky to be honest there are test on the net somewhere, and the conclusion was, keep the money in your pocket...

Apparently they're all pants.



I guess the K-series is mapped to run on 95, but I'm not sure anything 'pour-in' would give a measurable increase in RON value - it seems that the phrase 'octane boost' is fairly loose.

Put the right fuel in it, far less aggro.

Seen a few tests on these octane boosters and almost without fail they recorded nothing useful or a difference so marginal it could have been down to a difference in ambient temps
