Thread: First Audi purchase

Hey guys,

So I am looking at buying my first A3. I have found one that seems pretty spotless but I am weary that I might miss some important things that I need to look at that could cause me trouble in the future.

It doesn't have a turbo.

How is that a problem? o_0 Its just not as fast

Just joking, but there aren't any performance gains to be had really, so if you get bored with the 150hp there'll be no more to give unless you spend serious dough.

So there aren't like any common problems that I'd need to look @ etc apart from performance?

Have a quick look in the A3 - 8P section, you will have alot more info there, there is a sticky as well that has alot of FAQs as well.

Also maybe worth posing the question in there, as you will get much more response in there...

Just do all the usual checks by the way - Mileage, HPI Check, Visual checks etc....
