Thread: PROBLEM WITH AIR INTAKE FLAP

hi all having problems with my emission light seemed it needed a glow plug an there was a fault with the air intake flap. Had the glow plug done and air intake cleaned out and the light went off now its came back on after a day. Now it seems i need a new air intake flap which seems to be quite pricey
Anyone had similar problems??

Is this on 2.7 or 3.0 TDi?

2.0 tdi a3 had stage 1 remap done bout 4 months ago. Hope that hasnt got anything to do with it!

There is a common fault on the 2.7 & 3.0 TDi engine. I would remove it again check it's not sticking
