Just got insure for my modified 1989 Mk2 16V for £221 F/C limited to 3k miles parked on the drive. Next best quote was £45 more.
Not bad for no NCB in my opinion, though I've seen other people get their's insured for under £100 with the right postcode and garaged!
Other's to try are Lancaster and Footman James, they insured me previously, but a bit more expensive this year!
