do the rear rings badge just unclip or it it glued to the bodywork ?

The rears are glued on, heat them up with a hair dryer and use some fishing wire/dental floss to gently slide them off. Then use a spirit wipe to clean any glue off.

boil a kettle and poor the hot water over them, once they are nice and hot, just give them a tug with the fingers and off the will drop,

ok cool im painting them matte black so should i do the rear ones in situ ?
and also should i lacquer the black matte or just leave it dull ?

TBH, go buy some matte black ones from ebay and stick them on.
Painting that plastic/chrome stuff never lasts, and will chip off within a few weeks. The ones on ebay are simply black plastic, so cant chip or flake off.
