I've bought a T reg golf and looking to get it sprayed. It's a very funny green colour and has a few rust patches, I'll be keeping it as a second car so thought might as well! Does anyone have any ideas as to how much I'll be paying? Not looking for the best of jobs as it is an old car.

I'll be looking to change it. Really hate the colour at the moment.

An okish job will still cost you around £1200-1500

with the cost of materials going up probably nearer the 1500 for an okish job. Any cheaper and it may look really bad.

All in the prep mate and that takes time. Why not buy the golf in a color you want :s

I got the golf really cheap and it's had all the work done for the mileage it's at, so it was a really good buy. Thanks for the input anyway.

Why dont you get it vinyl wrapped, will be cheaper and a colour of your choice, this way you dont need to go through the hassle of getting books changed etc (as far as im aware) and then when it comes to selling, just whip it off, if you want to that is.
