I'm using the Gtechniq stuff and it's very good - never have to use the rear wipers in the rain...
'01 AMK, completely standard except for the Ambient Lighting Pack.

Have you not heard of Rain-X for around 7 quid from Halfrauds?

    Yup.
Used it before, never thought that much of it.
This stuff last about about 12months.

    Gtechniq?
    Googleing.

This looks good and so does the Gtech stuff, any costs of the Duxbak??

I always use rainx, previously used the plain one, however this time round I am using the spray bottle as i just find it easier to applicate, believe its a window cleaner as well which is pretty good too.

I've had great results from using RainX, best applied on a wet window from my experience, and it lasts quite a long time also. I'd rather do the RainX thing all round than pay 24quid for just one window, but that's just me.

I understand, 24 is alot of cash for one window but since I had negative results with Rain-X I'm looking at other alternatives.
It has been many years since I've used Rain-X and for 5 its worth a trial run.

    Yeah rainX is brilliant IMO,

however do not buy the screenwash additive, i just leaves masses of streaks and doesnt repel/bead the rain very well at all!

I used to use Rain Wizard which was great, RainX isn't as good. Bought a bottle years ago, used it once.

Carplan Nanomeric seems to work very well, only down side is once the two bottles are mixed you've got 24 hours to get it on the glass.
