My car has been off the road for the past 1 week and I've been driving the misses GTI.
I've noticed an extra light appearing on the dash every now and then.
mainly when its really cold.

The light in question is the traction control light.
This has never light up before and I dont think the car has traction control.
I've never noticed it kicking it when driving a bit energetic or when slipping on the ice.

Does any one know if this car comes with traction control or why this light would randomly light up?
I'm looking in other places for the answer but I find it hard to get a decent information on this car.
Its the 140BHP not the 180BHP (Sadly.)

I owned a 206 GTI 140BNP*... ahem I mean BHP... for about 7 years. They don't have traction control.

*private "joke".

ive been driving my girlfriends 206 gti whilst mine was in having work done.......and they defo dont have traction control, which bit of a pain with all the snow we had here.

the only light i got to light up yellow was the abs light anytime you went anywhere near the brakes in snow/ice as they are probably abit to harsh and lock up easily

I never thought it did untill the light popped up.
I then thought it was broken.
But the light have never been on when driving.

I'll get it diagnostic put on it at some point, see if that shows any thing.
