Hi all,

Originally posted in the General Chit Chat forum so deleted and reposting in here so apologies if anyone is having a moment of dejavu!

Looking for some advice and thoughts on a replacement car for the Mrs.

Her current 207 GT HDi has just gone 2 1/2 years old (Registered Mar 2008) and we're on the lookout.

Its a great car, full of standard features and a few we had factory fitted,

Some Standard Features :
(Proper!!) Panoramic Sunroof, auto lights, 17in Alloys, auto folding mirrors, Auto wipers, Half Leather....

Factory Fitted Options
Iron Grey Colour, Optical Rear Parking Display , Criuse, Bluetooth.

Cracking car but we don't hold onto ours much longer than three years and currently on the short list for a replacement are:

Fiat 500 Abarth (would prefer an Auto but the Auto only comes in the Convertible which isn't practical for her)
Suzuki Swift Sport (2011 Model when it is released)
Alfa Mito

We had a look at the New Polo but its a bit big for a run-around. For the same reason the new A1 would be a bit dear for the same reason. Our upper Cap is approx' £15K budget so a new Fiat 500 Abarth falls nicely into this price bracket

Mrs insists she doesn't want a (**FORD**) Fiesta nor Mini.

Also looked at the Seat Ibiza too but not for our liking. Vauxhalls (Corsa's..) or any further French Cars (Clio's, Twingo's, Citreon's) are also off the list.

The purchase will be new and on a 11 Plate.

Any suggestions or cars I have missed?

Cheers for any help.

Probably the best in your short list!
I would give the RenaultSport Clios a try though! they are great fun!
