took my car to local superchips dealer this afternoon for remapping but they couldnt get the software to connect etc, they did say they would order a bluefin unit and try it this way. Previously I bought a v switch unit which proved far too technical and couldnt read software to unit, before that I was considering the nearest apr dealer but his laptop or computer link had a comms error or something and would be out of action for some time. So as you can see Audi remapping in Wales is far from great. Has anyone else experienced difficulties or am I just unlucky?

I used Badger5 . I'm based near Swansea but drove the 80 miles as the guy has a great rep and i have had no problem's. I use this guy for everthing.

looks like either custom code or revo then.

contact phil at PWMotorsport mate he maps cars but he needs the ECU to send away to APR, thats one option anyway, as colin said you can use badger5 as he is top notch and knows his stuff or there is dialynx in bristol who are well known audi tuners so thats a few options for ya. it is pretty desperate in wales mate to get anyone who can specialise in mapping and specialise on Audi's and if there was someone around south wales then i would go to them all the time but the nearest i go to is phil at PW in pembroke and thats over 100miles round trip

booked in with PW motorsport on monday,if this doesnt work I'm giving up on this,my focus was so much easier!!

had the apr stage 1 remap and a little bit underwhelmed by it,by no means as different as the other turbos (renault 5,audi 1.8t,focus st) I had tuned, there is a bit more acceleration but not the shove in the back the other cars had. The high ratio gearbox doesnt help either, always having to change down a gear or two to overtake to use the revvy nature of the engine which I am not used to.
