    TWEETS tab

Not sure if this is the right section so apologies if not.

I do not subscribe to Twitter and find the 'tweets' tab popping upon the left to be very irritating and getting in the way of reading posts.

Is there any way that I can remove this via my personal settings or, if not, could you please consider moving it to a less conspicuous position on the page ?

    Thank you

edit :- p.s I have my favourites list pinned to my page at all times. Un-pinning moves the tab to the left but is still irritating !

    Tweets 2

Can the tweet thing be moved to the facebook button at the top?
Might be a bit picky of me but its really annoying where it it and blocks out a tiny section of that side of the screen.

Or even an option to remove it on a personal basis.

    Thank.

P.S. Site is working great at the moment and no issues.

    HAHA.
    Yeah, same here mate.
I don't do tweets and it is rather intrusive.

    Hi all

Ok I take the point that it is getting in the way in somecases. At the moment there is no option to turn off per person or move it. (it is just an option box that you tick) I will contact vbseo and see if there is a way turn it off as an option or move the button to the top of the page.

I have also merged the two threads together to make it easier for me to keep tabs on

On an up site people have stared to use the tab

Hi Administrators - I have pressed the 'Reply with Quote' button to reply to your previous post but it won't let me !

Dare I suggest that you pop over to the VAGOC.co.uk forum and check on the layout of their 'contact' buttons?

They have Twitter, Buzz This and Facebook icons in the header row that has the posters details in it, well out of the way of any text.

Please do not misunderstand me, I am grateful to you for getting the site in excellent order again after the problems and am not suggesting you should follow another forum layout. I merely draw your attention to an alternative layout.

Thanks again for the work you have done.

    Hi Mike

Second time for me to reply to this (I forgot to press post before closing the window)

I started the mission to try and intergrate the social networks and I guess this is not the one for ASN at the moment. It's part of the software already intergrated in the forum and I was looking to see how what and why. Its was also a very quick install.

I have seen the type of thing you are talking about on the other sites and it doesn't do it for me either so I'll keep looking for a better strategy for this part of the site.

as for the quote button I'll have to look at that might be due to me merging threads.

I have removed the tab from the side

It's great to have all the feed back but you are all going to have to put up with some of this testing. Please please keep giving me the feed back and ideas.

    Many thanks

    A
