MOMO vs. Dezent: Needing some advice on choosing.
So I was searching for a replacement to my stock 16" 9-arm alloys (the ones with the thick arms and really small gaps that make cleaning the inside of the alloys a pain in the arse) with either
18" MOMO Quantum (Matt Anthracite) Alloy Wheels for Your Audi A3 All Models - Rimstyle.com
Dezent RF Dark (Anthracite with Polished Face) Alloy Wheels (Alloys) - Rimstyle.com
Both are 8j width and 18" size. The Quantums have an offset of 50, while the RFs have an offset of 45.
The Quantums have a more affordable price going for them, and a kind of techno-look to them (which I kind of like). However, they sit in further than the RFs (though I suppose this could be remedied by spacers?). The lower price would also mean I can afford to get better tyres with my budget
The RFs, I imagine, sit a little more flush with the arch at ET45 but cost a fair bit more, which means I'll have to skimp down to some Nankang AS-1s or something for tyres...
I mean, I know most of you guys understandably swear by the OEM rims, but some of the aftermarket brands can't be that bad, surely (Dezent, in particular, seem to have had good recommendations)?
So what're anyone else's thoughts on this?
