Ahh right, the SB makes that kind of travel a bit restrictive for sure. Do you have KW springs and shocks or coilovers?
My 2.0T S-Line Sp.Ed and my MK2 16v Golf.
Nice cars pal, I used to one of the 16v's in the same colour  many moons ago lol
Hopefully engine rebuild and throttle bodies next year then respray the year after.
Its garaged all year and SORN'd for the winter.
115k, never been welded & passed MOT last month with no advisories again.
Thats the plan anyway. S3 next year too if £ will allow :)
2.0T for sale now, bought an S3 yesterday. Oops.....
my word that s3 looks healty and mean!!! :hubbahubba:
That is what an SB should look like!!
Twin exhaust
What skirts are they on that?

Looks quality with the twin exhausts !
They are S3 skirts and that looks mint! Liked it before with the old wheels but looks better with these ones imo. EmraldA3guy, I think they would look perfect in anthracite against the black
btw have you got different colour calipers on your car? Looks like one is yellow and one is black??
yea ur right one is black one is yellow. I got lazy and just painted one side when I installed the brakes haha
I need those S3 Skirts! make all the difference to the stance of the car! beautiful car mate!
(not feeling the headlight eyebrows though)
how low is the car? am i right in saying the bottom of the front bumper has been scraped a few times?
There only £300 new mate .Going to be buying some soon myself .Anyone got the part numbers ?
I have been put on a budget which does not have any money for spending on mods :3sadwalk:
might get the odd bit here n there but i need to save for a deposit and a wedding
You have a Hidden stash surely? :p
dont Let her grind you down already mate LOL
actually mate its not her grinding me down... Its about time i got my priorities into place we really need to start saving for a place and i hate that it means that i wont be able to complete the car project as quick... she understands how much i love my car and supports me on it but has also said that if we want a good future then saving for a place is a must! have to agree with her on this one unfortunately :(
Steve they are £300 (inc small discount) but you also need the door sills + for a totally OEM job the door moulding that run along bottoms of all doors which will increase that bill inc fitting + spraying to around £1000! It's a bloody joke, I know. But have a look at this thread for more info lad:
Parts list is on there as well
You can ;) hehe!
Not the sills though, have a look at that thread at the end and you can see by the pics.
Although I should also say that amar who's on here has an S line Sb with S3 skirts on with his original S line door sills and door mouldings and he says it fits fine.... As mine is a sport and I think the mouldings maybe slightly bigger than the S line ones but not 100% sure about that. What I do know though is they fit his with no problem and he only got skirts and there's a guy who did it on the 3dr that also only used the skirts
I have pm'd Amar hopefully he will have more info,I wonder if there the same door bottom parts on an sline sportback as is on an s3 ?
Who paid the £4k???
Insurance thankfully! Apparently because it was the rear quarter panel that was damaged they had to take the car apart, put a new panel in and then respray the car (the one time I regretted not getting a SB, which would've been just a new door jobby! :p)
emeraldA3guy loving the car, soon to be purchasing these wheels myself, just curios to know what rear roof spoiler that is?
emerald quite being lazy and spray that other caliper black it looks nicer I reckon. Never noticed the rear spoiler was the caractere one, looks a tiny bit bigger than S3/ S line one and has nice lil flick up at tip so it seems from pics.
I think the yellow looks good! It's different and makes the brakes stand out. Any more pics of your lovely car?
ash your car is so clean it looks new!!
