Yes well done Ilim......the point I was trying to make is that it needs to be central for all you guys up there.....just because its an Aberdeen meet doesnt necessarily mean its ONLY gonna be Aberdeen locals attending so you have to pinpoint an ideal location for folk travelling.
im not familiar with stonehaven / johnshaven i suppose either may have a good meeting point?
who amongst us is a photography nut, would be good to get some better shots that pics off my phone :)
I've got a few good cameras. Will bring with me the Canon 450D and some good lenses so we can get some nice shots of all the cars attending.
well like previously stated ill bring bbq's and some sandwhich steak and rolls
and my satnav and a wheel see if i get any takers ;)
Aww Ilim you'll be able to take your bucket and spade.
I meant more of the parking place
We'll make a huge Audi sign with the ASN banner under it. The locals will think the madhouse has been let out for the day.
Hey Sandra. Nowt wrong with being awesomely mad..........must run in the family.
You remember now us Brodies are pure and awesome.....period. Good looks for Ilim.............now thats funny!!!
lmao Mark, poor ilim. :) x
WHAT!!!!! I dnt get it...
I will need to educate you Ilim in the way of Brodie sarcasm :moa:
dont worry about it lad, so are we settled on a parking area yet?
Im looking forward to this Aberdeen meet. Should be a good day and if the weatherman is correct (is he ever) it should be getting nice hot sunny weather.
where in stoney, dont know it at all
The harbour front? Check the photos further up. In front of the cafes
Might be difficult to get parked there if the weather is good on a Saturday it might be busy
I'd love to attend this but unfortunately some idiot with a Range Rover Sport decided to reverse in to the front of my beautiful RS4 while it was parked up and minding it's own business... so it will probably be in a bodyshop having a facelift.
Martay - what are you talking about saying you "miss all the good stuff" - you met me just the other week! Surely a highlight of the year?
Need to get this wrapped guys......If its Stonehaven there must be other sites in and around the town IF the seafront is busy.
To be honest, I'd be more worried about missing a nice BBQ in Banchory than going for a cup of tea in Stonehaven. Either way, not back until the middle of August so will be missing out.
If I miss out on IRN-BRU icecream though I will seriously consider quitting. I suppose I could just go myself later and get some, but that's not the same.
I had a two scoop cone, butterscotch and pistachio btw!
I could be keen for this if I'm onshore.
Any thoughts on Aboyne for meet or the car park at the gliding club just outside Aboyne ace venue if it's sunny and BBQ friendly?.
Is the date set yet?
