The missus has been having trouble with her A3, it starts then dies instantly.........A yellow circle on the dash blinks(car / key sign). I take it this is some sort of immobiliser fault.
you have to mess agound with the key in the barrel for a few minutes then it will start.
Can anybody confirm it is the immobiliser playing up, is it true the VAG immobilser is linked to the ECU?? Thinking an easy solution would be to have this ripped off & an aftermarket on installed.
