Can any of you TT boys tell me what the RS Caractere is exactly?
Just had a quick drive in one and was surprised - not by the performance but coz it is badged as an RS! Bit disappointed really, didn`t even get `shakey leg`.
 
No such thing. Just a badge someones stuck on. It's probably been chipped and possibly a little more. Caractere is a make of body kit.

I personally think it's said putting RS badges on things that aren't.

Would putting one on my stage 3 tuned S4 make it an RS4? Nope, not at all. <shrug>
 
yep, totally with you on the badging something that`s not thing scotty. But this was a proper RS caractere badge not just some random RS badge that someone has stuck on. The body kit was nice and subtle and it had caractere stamped on the exhaust tips (which were big bore stylee). I didn`t get a chance to speak to the owner and find out what the story was.
It also had 19" wheels and Brembo 4 pots on the front and on the whole it did look nice although he has fitted a `whooooshy DV`. each to thier own i suppose!
 
Exactly.

I wonder if he knows he's harming his performance by having a dump valve rather than a divertor valve?
