F1 2nd practice session coming up lads.
Quiet isn't it! I'm almost finished for the day too. About to go get changed, earn a few quid on the throne and leave for home. Wahoo.
F1 is on now ;)
Also, who has the most posts just in the Pub thread, I reckon it's between Westy and Scott..
How can we find out?? I think Scott will win.

Time to get some foam I think.
You get the pride of knowing you're getting paid the most (in effect) to be on ASN.

It's nearly time to leave this pub and head to another pub for a Friday beer and burger :beerchug:
More work for me... I might try and convince my boss that a 1/2 day friday is a new law that has just been passed
Sorry about that - been on the phone to Elephant (insurance) for the last 72 minutes....
And there by hangs a tale:
Naturally, buying a new car I did some insurance quotes last weekend. Me main driver and Mel additional. Fully comp. £550 ish.
Phoned up Elephant and got a quote on a multicar policy - About the same sort of money at £550 the bloke told me. Sweet I said, I shall call back during the week and sort it.
Phoned back today to pay up and look pleasant..... Problems.
The guy that was on the phone gave me a quote for the TT of £850.
I fell over, then got back up.
He explained that I can't use my no claims that I have for the S3 on another policy.... which is right, however I didn't know.
So I explained that I called before and got a quote of X on this date. He looks into it and finds the quote, and then sees that the first guy had applied my no claims from the S3's policy and that's why it was so cheap.
So, I moan and whinge about it, and he says 'I'll see what I can do'.
On hold for 10 mins, and he comes back on. He says that he's spoken to his manager and because the first guy cocked up, that they would honour the original price and and GIVE me 5 years no claims on the second policy, which would then be permanent.
Anyway, he disappears off again and then comes back saying they can only give 4 years no claims because that's how long Mel has been driving.
Total premium for the TT for us both: £588.15 for the year. The S3 runs out in November, at which point they will pro rata the premium to make it last out until the TT's expiry date July 2012 for £356.
Not only that, but I will get a year's no claims on the S3 in Nov, as well as another year's no claims on both in July.
Result Welly! they did that for the mk2 for me too, ooh we cant do that and 5 minutes later I has loads of no claims :) WIN!
To quote Alex turner 'I've seen your frown and it's like lookin' down the barrel of a gun'
It'd be just my luck that I'd get 'I'm sorry Mr Rees, but you're the only person staying here.'
Also, staying at a premier inn means that you are effectively giving money to Lenny Henry. I'll take the smell of truckers arse any day!!!
Lol two albums later yes
