So I'm free.

whats happening on this wet and damp friday?
I am not going to be able to camp. Boooo.
I have just found out that my mate's daughter's christening (to which I will be godfather) is on that Sunday, and I can't miss that.
What I plan to do, is do the christening in the AM, fly home, get changed, get up to Wicksteed as fast as possible...
I am well disappointed, but unfortunately it is a must.
Sorry to let you down :(
On a more cheerful note, I have decided that for my birthday next month I am going to treat myself.
I am going to a book a track day at Combe.
It's £170 for the day, which seems like a bargain to me. I've always wanted to do one, and now seems like the time.
Cool! theres a Audi/VAG day on the 16th at coombe.
How did the interview go dude?
Back in da house, had an awesome day at Bletchley Park yesterday, traffic was bad on the way up but worth it.
Nice to see an Enigma in the flesh (they have a number on display in a glass case) to see "Heath Robinson" and the first programmable computer Colossus (rebuilt as they destroyed all the originals). Also had loads of fun going round the National Museum of computing, loads of kit that I learnt on at school (RML 380Z Commodore PET), played on (Spectrum, ZX81etc) and worked on in my time in IT ( Superbrain, IBM 6150 original IBM PC and load of printers and dumb terminals).
I would recommend it and the ticket gives you access for a year and we'll be going back in September.
