It's 2002, fsh, very clean motor what I can see so far it's got a forge 007 recirculating-valve and a cat back exhaust, standard apart from that.

i placed the order on 10th April and my estimated delivery was 5th Aug which I was abit gutted about but knew was worth the wait. My order has now been pushed back to estimated delivery date of 25th October?? So 28 weeks (7 months from order date) :(


anyone else having the same problem and know why!? Slough Audi have not given much away other than they are inundated with orders of the new model???

New member but have been using the site for a long time. Always get good information and a laugh as well.

Currently own a 2012 A4 Avant 3.0Tdi Quattro Black Edition. Really pleased with the car. Previously had a 2007 Golf 2.0Tdi GT Sport and then moved on to a 2009 A3 2.0Tdi Quattro Black Edition. Came to my senses when I found myself almost buying a Merc and placed an order for the A4 instead!

Keen to remap the car as I've had it for 6 months now and feel the need for a bit more power.

I've just ordered my first Audi (A3 SB 2.0 TDi SE) and stumbled across this website which seems excellent, hoping to get the car the end of Aug/early Sept.

In the past I've had Mk 2 Golf GTI (loved that car!), Honda Civic GT, a Mini (borrowed from my other half!!) and I'm currently driving a Mk 6 Golf 2.0 GT, this goes back to the lease company in July so I'm having to borrow and/or rent a car for a couple of months or so until the new Audi is ready.

We went to look at the Mk 7 Golf and there wasn't much difference to the current one we have now, we looked at the Audi and fell in love with it, especially the interior which seemed a lot superior to the Golf, in terms of feel and quality.

Bought this last week ready for the summer (if we get one).
I was all set to buy a silver 2.4 V6 but then my brother (an Audi service manager)informed me that the 2.4 is from the old model, and that the 3.0 (he knew i wouldn't be interested in a 4-cylinder)was the way to go - As it gives better performance, more power, more torque but is lighter and more fuel efficient than the the 2.4....
So, after some searching i found this car. It had a full Audi and specialist service history and the Multitronic gearbox is in fine fettle. It has some nice options, with the only thing that i wish it was fitted with being Cruise control.
The colour is Aquamarine, which seems to have a faint pearl gold hue to the blue in bright light. In the pictures it looks like some of the panels have bad colour match, but in the metal it all looks fine).....
It's going to my local Audi dealer for a full once over and for their smart repairer to refurb the wheels and touch up a couple of little marks. And i am going to have all the badges removed (apart from the front and rear 'rings'
If a set of 18" (B6) S4 Avus wheels present themselves for sale, i'll probably buy them and fit them to the car.

I'm Mark and new to the Audi experience, i hope to be the owner of a beautiful A3 Quattro s-line 170 by the end of the week, I have posted my questions on the A3 section.

My back ground in motoring well between me and my wife we have owned all sorts, from little Fiestas to STI impreza and even a few alfa romeos.

The wife currently drives a crackin wee clio sport 200 with all bells and whistles, awesome wee car and me for my sins have gone back to my first love, an Alfa GT coupe, the A3 will be for my good lady, with a little one on the way the clio is no longer practical with its rock hard suspension and recaro seats.

Anyhow time to change the car last month and I knew what it had to be.£5k budget..had to be 1.misano red 2.an A4 avant 3.not a V engine 4. had to be an s line model...the only variance was which engine,but it wasn't that important as mileage I do is quite low.

Anyway,here is my perfect motor....a 2004 A4 1.8T quatrro avant s line in misano red.95k with FASH....I'm still coming to terms with all the abbreviations I see, such as 8v,l etc....I'm sure ther'll be a sticky on it somewhere but I'm assuming its the codes for trim levels & features?? (please feel free to tell me what mine is ;) )....anyway..here she is........

I'm new to the site, I'm from the North West near Liverpool I'm there most weekends as my wife still lives there, but I am based in Dorset with the Army at present.

Just bought an Audi 1.8T A3 in Gun Metal grey with full leather interior, full service history, 12 Months MOT, 6 Months Tax, less than 100k on the clock and all for less than £1,000 which in my minds a bargain as there lovely Cars and drive really well.

So yea I signed upto this for advice and ideas, going to tastefully modify the Car and so far I have this in mind

Stage 2 and supporting mods
Lowered 30mm coilovers
S4 Alloys
S3 Spoiler
Front Mounted inter-cooler
Atmospheric Dump Valve
Silenced cat-back exhaust

I'll create a W.I.P when work begins, and any suggestions or advice would be appreciated ie: parts, dealers, recommendations.
