Hi all me and my partner have an audi tt mk1 and its a fab little car however we have recently started having a couple of issues with it. the big one is the remote keyfob not working. this packed in about a week ago so we changed the battery. now it will not work at all. I have tried google and found about 30 different ways to do this and none of them have worked which is an issue as we only have the 1 key. does anyone on or near the wirral know how to sort this out. i'll happily travel to you and am willing to supply a few beer tokens to get it sorted. its got me demented. We would both be very grateful if anoyone can help.

I have scanned it and there are no fault codes...
Is this a common problem on the tt? Is it just a bulb or is it led?

I previously had A3 8L 1.8t sport which I had remmaped to about 215bhp. I was expecting the tt to be pretty much on par being a 225 obviously allowing for the 4wd etc. but the tt seems to be far from it. I was checking the boost and have found that it hits 1bar but at about 4000 rpm it seems to drop off to 0.5bar. im not sure if this is how it is meant to be or weather there is a problem? I don't need it yet but, just one of them things that's nice to have hold of it you decided to disconnect battery or remove stereo for some reason.
