Went to see it tonight and it's remarkably mint.

The only thing putting me off are the 20" wheels though. As good as they look, they will be rock hard especially on our rougher back roads.

I could get circa £1500 for them and stick on a set of genuine 18s mind you.

New Canadian member here! Just discovered your forum on Twitter and was suggested by the Twitter admins to set up a thread to ask some advice on an exhaust swap that I'm looking into doing!

My buddy just picked up a 2011 S5 and he's having his full exhaust swapped out for a performance exhaust at the dealership tomorrow. I have a 2011 Q7 S-Line 3.0 TDI Prestige and since his stock exhaust will be coming off, he is willing to give it to me if it fits on my Q7.

Would anyone happen to know if I could do a direct swap with the piping and all from the S5 onto my Q7? He has the stock quad exhaust and I have the stock dual exhaust right now. Would I have to get some work done to make it fit?

If anyone happens to have any information or knowledge on it, please let me know.

Hi All Just registered, I have recently bought an A5 cab 3.0 tdi S line, Its a great spec car and I like everything about it other than the sound quality of the music, Ive had a lot of Audis inc a B8 A4 with B&O which was very impressive, but this is by far the worst I"ve come across since owning an old Audi 80 !

Its not the b&o its the standard sound system and as said its shocking , it has no bass or mid and when you increase the bass or sub setting in the mmi It just gives me a bad head! may sound petty but will be the thing that hinges on me keeping or selling it as I love my tunes and spending a fair bit of time in the car its a deal breaker.

I appreciate a cab will never have the best platform for a top quality sound (my previous A4 cab was acceptable) but im just wondering if has anyone ever upgraded the standard sound system on an A5 and what sort of costs were involved. Im not after a boot full of subs just something to improve whats already there.

From research, H&R have 2 types, and from some sources (online) people say they are very hard. I have seen KW have some too. I dont want to go the coilover route. I spent 1k euro on KW V1s on my Cupra and other than sorting out the aesthetics, it was very hard to ride, despite the subjective "it'll be fine" from many a forum (not just SEAT). Its personal taste and I dont think a full sport aftermarket suspension setup is for me (for budget reasons too), I just want to complete the look.

SO I'm basically curious if anyone else has experienced a similar failure of the wire due to corrosion?

Ive tried to upload a couple of pictures in the attachments to show what happened. Basically the metal securing point on the wire rusted and caused the wire to rust and break! Pretty easy to avoid if they used stainless steel or even just painted it surely!
