The bars are a slightly different design to other bars on the market but there's more info on them here - VW Golf R32 (Mk4) Stainless steel tie arms

but wouldnt the brake disc end need a bush??

also when fitting these ones is it the lower bar or the higher one?/

No the bars are ready to fit how they come.

You can fit them to both the top and bottom but personally we tend to fit them to the bottom.
