Thread: A3 suspension

Hi, could you price me up coilovers and springs and shocks for the following car.

3 door 2007 A3 TDi Sline 170

I'm looking to drop her 40-50mm so either coilies or a spring and shocker kit would do.
Don't mind spending a bit on it either, I would prefer to stay away from AP ect... Had cheap coilies before and found them too crashy!

Two popular choices for coilovers are the Weitec Hicon GT at £619.60 inc. VAT and the KW V1 Inox Line at £860.75 inc. VAT. Both are very good build and ride quality and perfect for everyday fast road use.

Is this around the price you wanted to spend or something a little less?

I've had a loil at the Weitecs on your site and always wanted to know how good they are.
I've had AP cheap setups before and found them lacking :/ so I don't mind spending a little more.

Just I a quandary as to how to go, see so many good reviews about Billy B8's and H&R springs but coils give you ride hieght adjustment.

Are the Weitec GT any good compared to the V1's?

The H&R springs would only give you around a 30-35mm drop with you having the S-Line.

The Weitec's are very similar to the KW and also made by KW but the V1's are a better quality option.

Well they turned up several days early which is impressive postage times but now 2 weeks later they're advertised at £50 less than what i paid.
Not very impressed!!

Yeah KW have just reduced all the V1 kits which I apologise for as we weren't told until the offer had started.
