I have a 2.0 tdi 2005
do you notice an increase in performance/efficiency/is it ok to use them
I have bought some ,but the manual advises against ading it!
thanks

Hi Blas
I tend to use FORTE for Diesel about twice a year. It seems to get a good write up & seems to be used by the trade. I cant say I notice any difference but hope it goes some way to keeping things / injectors etc clean.

I have never used redex in my diesel, but what is usally use is Millers Diesel ECOMAX (used to be called Millers Diesel Sport 4). I've found this to be good stuff and have noticed the difference now am I have ran out. You can get a 500ml bottle for £10ish on ebay or approx £12 from Halfords.

I have used BG244. It is good for 5000 miles plus. I have a 98 2.5 tdi with 160K miles and no smoke and no problems. Google BG244

after having the tandem pump / injector seals go , the diesel was full of oil so after cleaning the tank used 2 bottles of Wynns High Performance Diesel System Treatment - 500ml £9.49 a bottle

dont know wether its this or not but car idles really smooth and car does seem more responsive , but that could be the fact that it was drinking engine oil before hand
