had the ecu light come on and the engine lost a huge amount of power, like its running in limp mode. had the fault codes read, came up as MAF sensor, changed this for a new genuine audi one and its still the same, any other ideas?

Is there alot of light grey smoke coming from the exhaust, if the answer is yes, then I would suspect the turbo has blown.
problem solved, it seems that when the car went too get the fault codes read the first time it was the MAF, but discovered today that the idiot there had reversed the vacuum hoses so there was no turbo boost, now i dont know if this was an accident or on purpose to try and screw more money. but its sorted now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
