Anybody shed any light as there are so many tuning options avialable.

Looking for a unit that plugs in and can load a map for power / economy / original

It will need to be smooth with power coming in all through the rev range.

The car will need to go on a rolling road as want it done properly, plus have good customer service.

To much to ask lol oh and its for an A3 quattro tdi 170bhp on an 08 plate.

seems too complicated - just use one of the well-known tuning companies

you can regulate power/economy/original with your right foot surely?

removable for warranty i can understand

and a rolling road is completely unnecessary for a remap or tuning box from a reliable company - even a custom tune for a hybrid turbo doesnt need one, just some logging and a tuner who knows what he is doing

if the remap is fine then there is no customer service - fit and forget should be the norm with normal car servicing at your dealer or non-franchise as you choose

Please check this thread out if your interested in tuning for the 170PPD. The 170PPD engine can be a bit troublesome to say the least but here at Custom-Code have sorted the problems out for you.
