Just got an M reg 80 TDi SE with 130K on the clock. Like the car and it is good knick with quite a bit of history. BUT there is a wierd "dead spot".

Have looked at the treads on flat spots but this seems abit different. It seems to happen about 2000rpm but is not consistant. On changing up (either excelerating hard or not)and in various gears it dies momentarily, almost like my foot has slipped of the gas, or like running out of fuel. It then picks up again and is fine until the next gear change.

It can make crossing junctions a bit hairy so advice would be welcome! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
