Not being able to locate a Haynes manual and failing to find a picture of a engine on t'internet I am wondering if someone would be able to tell me what the following item on the engine is.
If you look at the engine from the front so you have the alternator on the left there is a worrying, sort of rattling noise on the lower right of the engine. The noise is coming from under a black plastic cover.
The car has done 64K so I am expecting it to be the cam belt as the alternator one went recent, boy that was fun drive at night with the dash going out every now and then!
Any help will be welcome!
