what oil?

I have and A4 2.0 TDI 2005 140 engine and have noticed the engine oil is low and needs toped up. What oil should I get? This is my first diesel so not sure what I'm looking for. All I know is the stuff that's in my car is black.

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

It should tell you on a little sticker where the bonnet catch release is alongside the warning stickers telling you that your radiator is hot etc etc. Hope that helps.
