Just bought the car and have noticed on initial reving of engine there is a kind of squeel noise from turbo it goes away when i remove actuator pipe no smoke or free play on turbo and actuator moves free and easy drives bang on.
Does it sound like a police siren?
police siren?no sounds like squealing brakes only for split second when throttle applied .
Is it modified (tuned)?
Professional chiptuning (most makes and models) and diagnostics (VAG, BMW, Vauxhall).

These turbo's make little bit of that noise anyway, unless you notice drop in power & very loud whistle then wouldnt worry to much, mine does it & my mates a tuner & he said they do a little anyway especially when tuned aswell.

Take it to the garage mate, i had a loud whistle and low and behold the turbo was gone. fhank tuck for warranty i suppose :D
