    Poor MPG

    I have owned my A4 Avant 1.9TDI 130 Sport for 2 years and in all this time it as never returned more than 40mpg, I have tried driving the car gently and agressively and it seems to make little or no difference to the mpg. Does anyone have any ideas ?

    How are you reading the economy? DIS or manually? as the computer isn't always correct.

    I only get 38-40 mpg, but my car is wayyy overweight, it did 60mpg standard.
