cough every 2-3 seconds 2.0 tdi A3 2006

my 2.0 tdi a3 when on idle seems to cough/hiccup ive cleaned egr and replace airfilter but cant seem to find what causing this,vag has been used and after a full scan no faults were found.

Mine does this too, I believe its quite common. I used injector cleaner and after driving for a few hundred miles it improved. I also Bluefinned my car and it hardley ever does it now. Maybe the mixture is run a little too lean for comfort?

having the same problem only when cold i just changed the adaption for idle control and got better i need to check it again in the morning,gonna check the timing ive checked everything else
