Anybody else notice their mpg go up in this milder climate? Suddenly I'm up to (DIS reading) of 50.5mpg (actual= 48ish)... up from 46ish( actual = 43ish) mpg with no driving style change. Wierd eh?!

My A6 and my old Passat 1.9TDi are/were sensitive to this. The A6 seems to be at its optimum around 13degrees, but i think humidity has a bigger impact (wetter air = more mass=more power even though the MAF is supposed to sort it). Oh, and 199k and counting, not up with you........yet

I wonder are you maybe just a little lighter with the right foot?? Slowing down to smell the roses and all that...

Dont know about mpg, but my a3 tdi definatly feels happier in the warm weather.
