Blown turbo on a 130

Hi, the turbo on my A3 130 sport quattro (2002) blew last week. The repair job (thankfully under warranty) is going to replace the turbo, inter cooler and full exhaust system. Is this a known problem? Has anyone else had this problem or know of anyone? What should I look out for when I pick up the repaired car?

I had an intermittent power loss fault on my A3 TDI quattro which is also a 2002 model....The Stealers diagnosed it as a faulty turbo and replaced it under warrenty....Thing is this didn't cure the problem so they fitted a new turbo for nothing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
