Anyone done the evry mod? if so what resistance?

Just wondering if anyone has done the evry mod? Its the resistor put into the fuel temp sensor that gives a bit more power..The same as the cheap tuning boxes off the bay... only thing is that with the cheap boxes, my car judders on tickover, both my A4's have done this (130 pd's). but my mates golf doesn't. Does anyone know that ohm resistor to use to give a bit of poke but no judder..

If you want more poke, why don't you adjust your PSI Motorsport tuning box?
Messing about with a resistor on a tuning-box equipped engine can't be a good thing.

Which tuning box do you have?
The PSI Motorsport box you have (In your sig..)...is it the IPVWGEN box?

If so, there are 4 power settings...
It comes set on position 2...you can go up to 3, or 4...but it'll get very smokey!!

Looked at this myself and came to the conclusion that it's not something I would want to do to my engine, sure it's cheap in the short term but that will be out weighed by additional fuel cost quickly.
