A6 Avant 2.5 TDI Quattro 5 cylinder

Hi all,

Does anyone have a power and or torque figure for the following car, I can't find any definitive information,

1997 "P" Audi A6 Avant 2.5 TDI Quattro 5 cylinder 6 speed manual
Has big red "I" on back badge, dials in middle facia, leg supports at front of front seats etc.

Any help most appreciated.

Check the engine codes, but its probably the AEL model
Engine code AEL
Power = 103Kw = 138bhp
Torque = 290Nm = 214 lbf-ft
Engine code AEL
Power = 85Kw = 114bhp
Torque = 195Nm = 214 lbf-ft

Thanks for your help Enda.

Driven back to back with a four year old BMW 530 D Sport with 187 BHP this Audi does not feel much slower / less powerful.

Just how the power is made I suppose.

Because its a few generation old its probably a lot lighter than a more modern BMW so can still shift reasonably well
