Occasional high rever when starting from warm

My A4 TDi has started to rev at about 3000 rpm for a second or so after restarting from warm. It doesn't do it all the time probably once a week.

There are no other symptoms. The car has done 152,000 miles since new 2002 so I'm thinking maybe leaking injector(s).

Any idea what else may case this please?

First thing i can suggest is change the coolant sensor,if it hasn't been changed,do it!
My friend vw bora did the same,i changed the sensor and its never reved high on start up,common problem easy d.i.y, about 24 quid from audi,Have you noticed an increase in fuel consumption?:thumbsup:
