particulate filter on 02 A4 TDi

I have an 02 Audi A4 100 TDi and been doing all my own servicing. It's just dawned on me that I've done nothing with the particulate filter on this car and at 140K maybe it needs doing.

But, does it have a prticulate filter? If so, how do I service it....is it a fluid top up?

Don't think they introduced the particulate filters until the B7 models.
