Alternater power steering pump belt probs

Hi All Im new here and need your HELP
Any one had problems with v6 2.5dti that keeps chewing up power steering/ alternater belts. Seems to me that the auto tensioner mount is worn and allows belt to run off line? Are there any mods to fix this ?
any help or sugestions welcome.
