Main faults/ thing to look for when buying 2.5

I am looking into buying a 2.5 V6 TDI A4 and looking for advice and info on what to look for when buying the above. Not just engine related.

control arms are a big problem on a4's. (creaking from front suspension)

Make sure all the electric windows work properly,check drive shaft gaiters,steering rack track rod ends,service history for cam belt change (if necessary),Maf sensor,EGR valve,engine breather filter have been changed/serviced.Look out for oil leaks due to the latter being blocked and increase engine block pressure blowing oil seals!!!!
