hi, i have a '98 1.9tdi ahu engine and wondered if any of the following were possible,

retrofit aircon from another model,
retrofit trip computer in centre of speedo froma nother model,
tune the car to about 150bhp, i know this would be possible but am interested in the costs and parts required to up mine from 90 bhp

chip remmap from jabba cost me £400 took it to 115bhp with 335 torque. mine was 90 before. not sure about the trip comp that sounds quite a mission 2 do if it would be possible. same applys with the aircon. see what others think. good luck mate

ok remapping to 150 from 90 may be a slight problem, not too sure if its possible. In most cases 33% increase is about the best.

As for retrofitting air con and a trip computer, i think it would probably be cheaper to buy another car!!! lol

But let me know cos i kinda miss air con in my A3!!!

you should look into hybrid turbo's and higher pressure injectors that some companies i forget which are offering as upgrades
