I've got a 51 plate A4 1.9 diesel 130 sport and it's been on the diagnostics at an Audi dealer, where they told me there was an injector fault. Initially, I took it in because of a lumpy tickover, which Audi told me was caused by the injector problem. They told me that a new injector would cost around £600, without the labour costs thrown in (gulp!).

Does anyone know of a diesel injection specialist in the West Midlands that would be able to fix this problem, as I guess some damage to the engine will occur at some point and that will make £600 + labour look like chicken feed.:scared2:

Ok, since I posted this I've been to a diesel injection specialist. They've told me that my car has an injector balance problem and, possibly all the injectors have to be replaced at £200 each + labour costs. Ouch!

I originally bought an Audi, because I thought I was going to be buying a quality car with a good reliability record. How wrong I was. The number of faults I've had with this car far surpasses anything I've had on any other car I've owned. I should never have swapped my old 1.3 Jetta for this heap of crap. I'll NEVER touch Audi again!! No amount of debating will change my mind either.

It helps a lot knowing that These injectors are around £250 each. I've just got to find somewhere to fit one now. It also shows what a ripoff Audi dealers are. Thanks.

Where can you get them for £250 each?
