Hi guys

Any one had any experiences with changing the N75 on their TDi after chipping?

I have a 2.5 tdi (155) and am about to chip and wondered whether the is an n75 off the 165 or 180 version that might hold some benifits......

Any ideas?

i asked this on tdiclub.com and got the responce of:

"why would you want to do that on a diesel."

so im guessing no.

The impression I get is that messing around with the N75 can bring on overboost which will cause the ECU to shut down the turbo and put the engine into limp mode. As for any lasting effects, not sure.

I did read on the A3 forum that a quality chip/remap should NOT require a new N75.
