how hard are glow plugs to change on a scale of 1-10?

With only a Haynes manual and limited amount knowledge is this something I should be doing?

I actually want to start doing some jobs myself but is this too deep for me?

Well a good start would be to tell us which car you're planning on changing them.

It's a A3 1.9 TDI 2009 (not sure on the exact engine model)

Are they in the cam cover like PDs?

Are you experiencing any problems? Any error codes logged relating to glow plugs?

Think when Nigel checked it, it had 3 open circuit fault codes (or something like that), no problems but with glow plugs being cheap its probably better to just sort it
